instead of doing my homework, i'm investigating the DSM-IV. this little research project started so i could better understand my housemate and mother (schitzophrenic and bi-polar, respectively) but quickly turned to my own mental health.

it's become pretty apparent that i've been diagnosed with a number of things over the last 10 years or so. strange, i don't feel that crazy. but then, i'm skeptical of the whole diagnosis process and the "truth" these doctors think they come to. a hundred years ago they weren't right about "hysteria" what makes them right about depression now?
