finally got my rough draft comments back. surprisingly enough, they were really positive. right now, i have a good draft and i can have an excellent thesis if i add specific bits of evidence and tie things together in a cleaner way.

all in all, it's pretty validating for a prof i respect a ton to tell me she thinks my project is interesting, well-researched and has the potential to be "excellent." lord knows i've done enough work on it.

i wonder if i can find someone to go and scrounge with me. i always hate walking across campus when it's cold. seems like it's less biting when someone else has to share yr shivers. hmm...i think i spy that someone right now!
