it's interesting to me how two people who are so different on the outside can be dealing with such similar problems about that very thing. perception of myself and what other people's eyes and thoughts have to do with it (more than I'd like) and how to get outside of that loop (though staying out of it is the hard part.) i suppose whatever people carry around with them to show the world, the problems of presentation are the same, so perhaps it is not so surprising.
